Extension - Tactile Tracing Surfaces
This video shows you how to trace letters and numbers on different tactile surfaces. We show you how to practice the direction of letters and numbers on a variety of different materials. Each material gives a different sensation to the fingertips when transferring the signal to the brain.
Materials Needed:
To introduce letters and numbers you can use various surfaces - rice in a tray, sand in a box, paint in a bag, puffy glue (allow it to dry then trace with your fingers), foam, sandpaper, etc.
