This is the time of year when everyone is getting back into the routine of school, and preschool activities. I just wanted to remind all of you that learning is supposed to be fun. Creating a joy of learning is such an important part of your child’s development. They learn through play and discovery, participation and exploration. Opportunities to learn are everywhere.
Returning to the routine of regular school or preschool can be overwhelming for young children after the long summer break. Finding ways to interact with your child and discover new ways to revisit familiar activities is a good way to help them settle.
Repetition and practice of activities is the way your child will master skills. As they build their skills they develop a positive sense of self, building self-esteem and independence. Enjoy!
