Why are the early years so important?
The experiences a child up to the age of six has have a powerful effect on the rest of their lives. Their development of math, logic, language and music are greatly influenced at this early stage.
These periods are known as ‘windows of opportunity’ where a child is especially open to particular types of learning.
Voices 4 Children have published research showing the benefit of multi-sensorial teaching. It shows how exposure to reading, music and simple math concepts have a critcal effect on the development of the brain for children up to the age of six. It states:
“If these periods are missed, children are more likely to develop learning, behavioral, emotional or health problems later in life”

With just 10 minutes a day you can have a dramatic effect on your child's first years of school and the success they enjoy.
Many of us live hectic busy lives and finding time to do all the things we would like to do can be a real challenge.
