Jill’s book, Teaching Parents to Teach, has been an inspiration as well as a great resource for me as I embarked on this journey. It has not only given me the tools and guidelines of which to base my lessons but also reaffirmed my belief and passion in multisensory teaching. I have had incredible results with my students over the last 6 months.
Happy Birthday!
“What was the best thing about your party? Her answer – “Playing under the table with B!”
I love being a grandmother!
C is delightful with her baby sister, playing with her and making her laugh. She is empathetic and understands her needs, loving her and consoling her when she cries.

My son, who is typically very chatty, was silent throughout, even when the ambulance and fire [...]

Throughout her young life C has snuggled beside members of her family to listen to many different types of books in French and English: song, poetry, classics, illustrated preschool, and [...]
The Power of Taking Time
I rush a lot; in fact I rush all the time. I am constantly saying to myself “I have to get this laundry done before tonight or I have to get to the bank before it closes”. I find myself dragging my toddler in and out of the car, hurrying her to and from the [...]
